Interactive program on Right to Information for evidence-based journalism in Gandaki
POKHARA: An interactive program on the topic of Right to Information for Evidence-Based Journalism has been completed in Gandaki Province. The program, held in Pokhara on Asad 10, 2082, was inaugurated by Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey.
The program was chaired by Umid Bagchand, central president of the National Federation for Right to Information. The program was attended by media personnel, civil society, information officers from various government agencies, and others.
The program, organized in collaboration with the Gandaki Provincial Government, discussed the importance of the right to information in the journalism profession, its practice, implementation status, challenges, and problems.
